flizbox version 7

I have written a script to take all the time and effort out of setting up a seedbox. My script will do many things....

What flizbox does:-

- Lighttpd web server
- rtorrent 0.9.3
- libtorrent 0.13.3
- RuTorrent 3.5 with its own HTTPS address
- All official plugins available for RuTorrent
- autodl-irrsi with plugin for RuTorrent
- vsftpd (very secure ftp using ssl)
- mktorrent 1.0
- All required dependancies
- A unique SSL cetificate for each link needed to access your server (vsftp, rutorrent, deluge etc).
- Option to install Deluge 1.3.5, ZNC 1.0 and Webmin (deluge option does not replace the rutorrent installation).



Tested 100% working on 64-bit versions of:-

- Debian 6
- Ubuntu 12.10 Server
- Ubuntu 12.04 Server
- Ubuntu 11.10 Server
- Ubuntu 11.04 Server
- Ubuntu 10.04 Server

This script is currently for a single seedbox user only.

How to use:-

After a fresh Linux install log in as the root user using the password they give you and then do the following:-

wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/flizbox/files/flizbox-v7.sh

then after the script has been downloaded, use the folowing to run it :-

bash flizbox-v7.sh

Please be patient when waiting for script to install..!

You can now run the script again at a later time (after the install and reboot using root login) to auto-magically bring up a brand new configuration menu with options to change the passwords and SSH port for better security.

Please feel free to post any suggestions or questions in this thread! Also, if I don't answer somebody straight away anyone else is free to answer too!

Note: When the script has finished all the links for the programs you choose to be installed will be given to you. The default port for FTP is 21 and the default port for SSH/SFTP is 22.

Note: Always use the latest version of the script as described here, whichever Linux distro you are using, the earlier/beta versions of the script are on sourceforge for informational use only!
