    Automatically Unrar Downloads using Utorrent

I've been looking for a way to do this for a while - and wasn't really satisfied with the method floating around the place using a a batch file to process finished downloads.

Here's a method I've started using. Which is much easier and customizable.

    1st.

    Download SCRU: Codebyte.org - SCRU

SCRU is an advanced unpacker tailored for Scene releases and is a fantastic program regardless of auto unrarring or not. Inside you will be able to customize a range of settings and filters to make unrarring archives a sinch. Make sure you set this up correctly as these settings will be handling the extraction process of your torrents after download

    2nd.

Inside uTorrent from versions 2.2 up there is a new global "run program when torrent finishes" setting.

Locate the directory where SCRU is stored on your PC (mine is in the root) and enter the following string:

    c:\SCRU\SCRU "%D" *

and that's it! ... after a torrent is finished downloading SCRU will automatically take over and extract the contents into the path that you have specified inside the program.

There are a range of other options inside SCRU which can further automate the process.. For instance I have setup filters to recognise "S0*,E0*" strings for instance and the program auto unpacks into my TV folder .. possibilities are endless .. a great free app

For filters, can you use regex matches to create output folders? i.e.
    Code:
    (.+?)S\d\dE\d\d
and have the output folder be the captured tv show name group?

wanna send shows to different folders, and not have to create filters for separate shows.
