@Rhialto, George Carlin is classic. Honestly, I need to find a tracker with his old stand-up videos/specials. I got a few from rutracker a year ago but I haven't looked to see what format they are or if they even play on my computer.

But yeah, George Carlin is amazing. Other great ones (in my opinion) are Richard Pryor (most people's favorite comedian, I honestly haven't watched much of him), and the following ranked in order of my most favorite:

1. Dave Chappelle (all his specials are amazing, but his newest two that were released on Netflix a couple months ago are hilarious... it's his first two recorded stand-ups in almost a decade or so)
2. Louis C.K.
3. Aziz Ansari
4. Anthony Jeselnik (check out his recent Netflix special "Thoughts and Prayers", it's absolutely hilarious but he's a very dark comedian so some people really don't like him but it's fucking comedy... it's jokes... and his are amazing no matter how "messed up" they may be)
5. Daniel Tosh
6. Jim Jefferies
7. Hannibal Buress

Those are my favorites.
