Syrian government troops did not use chemical weapons in the city of Dumas, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties stated. These accusations are "fabricated character," Major General Yury Yevtushenko said.

Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, Major-General Yury Yevtushenko rejected reports on the use of chemical weapons by Syrian government forces in the city of Dumas.

"Strongly refute this information and declare our readiness after the liberation of the city of the Duma from the militants to immediately send Russian experts of radiation, chemical and biological protection to collect data that will confirm the fabricated nature of these statements," Tass quotes.

As reported by the SANA agency, the Syrian government forces resumed attacks on the morning of April 7 on the last outbreak of resistance of the Syrian opposition in East Gut, the city of the Duma. The attacks, as the Syrian agency clarified, resumed after the grouping of "Jaysh al-Islam", because of disagreements with other formations, fired civilians emerging from the Duma along the humanitarian corridor.
