Amazon is selling the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch at $50 off for Father's Day
If you're planning on getting your dad a smartwatch for Father's Day, you can save $50 on the Fitbit Ionic at Amazon. With the discount, you'll be paying $249.95, 17% less than the usual price. The device was Fitbit's first attempt to produce a smartwatch (it has since released the Fitbit Versa) and it does sync with both iOS (Apple iPhone 4s or later) and Android (Android 4.4 or later) handsets. It will also work with Windows 10. The watch hooks up with a compatible device at a distance of up to 30 feet.
The Fitbit Ionic comes with both a small and a large band, just in case you're not sure about dad's wrist size. The Ionic runs on FitbitOS and is equipped with GPS, a heart rate monitor, an NFC chip, and it will store over 300 tunes. The watch downloads your Pandora playlist and monitors your physical activities such as running, swimming, and workouts. And at night, the Ionic will even track your sleeping patterns. The battery will run as long as 4+ days between charges.
The Fitbit Ionic features an LCD screen, with brightness up to 1,000 nits. The Gorilla Glass 3 protected screen weighs in at 1.42-inches and carries a resolution of 348 x 250. Swimming with the Ionic is no problem since it is water resistant to 164 feet.
Amazon is selling the Fitbit Ionic at the sale price in Blue-gray/Silver and Charcoal/Smoke Gray. In Ink Blue/Ice Gray, the price rises to $279.95. And yes, your dad will love it (of course, he will love anything you get him). If interested, click on the sourcelink below. Also, you might want to check out Fitbit's promotional video found at the top of this article.
