On a positive note, though, I connect via wifi to an adjacent hotel, so internet is free and I'm pretty untraceable. My seedbox is 100MB, so I can download to my seedbox and FTP overnight.

50MB down and 60MB up. Guess my isp was made for torrent seeding! Haha

@LEO, right now I have 15 mbps down and 1mbps up, but I'm going to upgrade to 35mbps down and I believe it'll be 10mbps up. I'm looking forward to it!

So here's the fun thing. I'm out in the sticks, so you'd think I have terrible internet speed. You'd be right but for the wrong reasons. I have a fiber line that runs through my front yard, and fiber to the door for my internet connection. However my isp has some areas that are only covered by dsl, so that's what they base their internet packages on. So with fiber to the door my internet speed are :
10mb down /1mb up.

Getting them to even talk about faster connections, especially on the upload side is like pulling teeth. I'm getting close to breaking through to them though that I'd like a better connection that actually acts like a fiber internet line, we'll just have to see how much they want to charge me for it!
