Giveaways can be competitive. Most are usually given to more established TI members with some feedbacks, likes, and REP points. and most require you to submit ratio proofs from your current private trackers.

I think the best way to start is to check out the Open Signups Subforum. Some trackers regularly, or every once in a while, open their doors for people to sign up. If this happens, rest assured you'll know about it from the following subforum:

I recommend you to check this every day as things change quite rapidly. From the current list of open trackers, I'd join TorrentLeech. That's as good a start as any!

Start there, establish a good ratio, sign up on another tracker, do the same there, and then giveaways will be a more viable option. Make sure you read the rules for every tracker you join. Accounts are all lifetime, but they can be disabled or banned for various reasons (rule violation, inactivity, etc.) Each tracker has its own rules.

Also check out the rest of the open signups forum. Read about the tracker before deciding to join to make sure that the stuff you want is actually available on it. The Tracker List I sent you earlier will link you to all the latest tracker reviews


Also make sure you check out the Unlimited Invites Subforum. Depending on what you're after, there are some pretty good trackers there. I recommend HD-Space and BitHDTV for HD TV & movie content:
