Maybe because it's the best tracker in it's category.

i hear its not as good as it used to be, in fact pornolab has about the saem content if you can get over the fact its in russian. That being said id love to get an invite and see what the fuss is about

The non-availability of invites, the high amount of porn content and the way the team manages the site makes Empornium one of the best in its category. Also, as you mentioned, being an English tracker has its advantages as most people prefer that.

The real deal are the EMP exclusives and the high success rate of requested content

If you seek 0day content you can go with pornbay as well they have almost the same pre time!

It's pretty good although not as good as it used to be.

Good amount of new torrents being uploaded, lots of old stuff, great variety, lots of seeders for everything and pretty easy to maintain ratio.

I have not found better tracker for porn. If I have to rate my all time best they go Cheggit, old EMP and current EMP.

On purely a content (and user count) basis, PornoLab actually is "bigger". 1.3m users vs 80k. 680k torrents vs 430k. The differences are 1) the site infrastructure is better, for finding content, for requesting reseeds (not to mention it is a native English site), and distribution, 2) for some reason PornoLab allows DHT on their tracker, 3) Empornium users seem to be dedicated to seeding - if you asked me to put a percent number on torrents seeded at Empornium, I would say it is greater than 90%, honestly. There are a lot of users on Empornium (and PornBay as well, for that matter) who invest in SeedBoxes. The second you upload a torrent to Empornium (and PornBay as well) you are immediately connected to by SeedBoxes. Admittedly a few of them are intended to check the content to make sure it is legit and not virus-laden, but for the most part they are there to assist in seeding. Pretty nice service.

Of course the community is really good too. If you make a request you can be sure there are plenty of users who are attempting to fill it.

I'm in both Emp and Pornolab and I use Pornolab more. Even RARBG is better for 0-day porn tbh
