I'm afraid I have to disagree. TorrentLeech sucks. I've also been doing outside seeding, because this is pretty much the ONLY way to build a substantial buffer in a short time. If you want to build a buffer by seeding newly posted torrents on TL (which, by the way, newcomers to the site are not allowed to do) it will be slow going. Due to the lack of other options (such as freeleech or bonus points) users are forced to seed new torrents as aggressively as possible, which means the little guys without extreme-spec-seedboxes are left behind.
It does not speak well for a tracker when its users not only have to resort to outside seeding, but are actually encouraged to do so in the tracker's very own FAQ. Think about what this really means: You have to sacrifice your buffer on other trackers just so you can have the privilege of remaining a member of TorrentLeech, a site which itself has very little unique content to offer.
There is ALMOST NOTHING on TorrentLeech which you can't also find on IPTorrents and TorrentDay, both of whom are a lot more ratio-friendly. TorrentLeech recently suffered a massive hack, resulting in the loss of a lot of its older content. This makes it all the more absurd that you have to apply to become an uploader and adhere to strict guidelines (which for the time being have been somewhat relaxed). Perhaps TL will get better in the coming years, but then again, so will IPTorrents.
I'm no longer bothered if I lose my account due to inactivity. This site makes it exceedingly difficult to seed and offers nothing in return. Using TorrentLeech is like trying to get laid with a fat, ugly nun.
