Everybody or much thinks ptp and AHD is the best tracker, and it's a dream to find place in them
Let me say that this the worst places in the torrent

I would advise anyone to stay away from these sites because of the resulting pain and a waste of time
You may donate and up 3-4 TB
At the moment you find yourself out because one of the managers doubt your membership
Due to the change password
Or change the windows or anything trivial

not sure If I understand , did you opened this thread to discuss or to warn everyone not to join PTP or AHD
because you had bad experience on them or what ???
PTP and AHD are not necessary trackers to have , nothing special there in my opinion
but if you ever join is better to read all their STUPID RULES BEFORE DOING SOMETHING

I feel you man , but don't give satisfaction to them , just move forward , too many good trackers out there

In my opinion PTP and AHD are very good sites, and i am talking here about SITES not staff! Trackers are very cool, they have organized browser system, gazelle source, everythig is very clear. Staffers those tracker are rude, not cool, not fair, and they don't care about users, that is true. There are a lot of ban. But honeslty show me another movie tracker which has that large movies base as PTP. You will probably say IPT, ok they have big base of torrent but i'm pretty sure you won't find there many many movies, especially older. That is my opinion and i don't want to protect thier or excuses because i agree that PTP, AHD and other gazelle trackers are dangerous! But there are good trackers to me!

Yeah you should if you are movies maniac AHD for HD version and PTP for everything else, older movies, not mainstream, and foreigns! You have to remember that, you can loose you account there for everything and nothing. That is sad true, and if only way to get in is buy an invitation/ account i honestly not recommend you! Because it could be a waste of your money and time but it doesn't mean it has to be!

@kooper, what else do you expect them to rather than ban you once they find you traded/sold their invite.

I agree with @MaGmaR, PTP/AHD/BTN/HDB might be over hyped but they're better compared to their competitors in some way or other..that's why they are the best.
@whiteLight, can you stop calling them shitty? explain to me how exactly are they shitty. Their mods do their work by banning traders/sellers just like you ban scammers. Just because they do their job doesn't make them shitty, also if you hate them too much then give 'em to me
@Rhialto, they don't have anything special limited to themselves, try joining FileList if you already don't have an account there, IPT/TorrentLeech/FileList will get you most of their internals. Not only that you'll also risk getting banned on some trackers. They're not needed unless you need it for e-peen.

About PTP and AwesomeHD is just my opinion , to me both of them are not necessary to have.

1) PTP , never said that is a bad tracker , just that their huge database to me isn't import , i watch only new releases
i can easily find those movies everywhere..

2) AwesomeHD , true they have good internal releases that i download sometimes ,
but they lack on many things , There's better HD trackers out There ,

I do not hate any tracker , i have better things to do
Also everyone is entitled to run their own tracker how they want , just that torrenting isn't fun there anymore.

Have been on both trackers in the past. AHD - internal encodes for me didn’t warrant staying on the tracker, if I download encodes I want HD audio not just DD or DTS.

PTP I stopped using out principle, even though my account was reinstated due to admin error, no apology was forthcoming on IRC for the accusations they threw. So just stopped using. That said it has an incredible amount of content on their and does warrant its reputation, only thing it does come at a price......

TehConnection has been a much better fit for me, and in the 5 years since the above happened there hasn’t been a old/rare/obscure film I’ve not been able to find on Teh.
