Do you prefer RARed or unRARed torrents?

Unrared torrents as its easy and on go with out extracting the files.

Rared torrents only for traffic/download security purpose.

I like both. Rar is nice for image files and for games with save files included. (Since otherwise, you'd have to make a second copy anyways to play the game).

Unrar'ed is nice for other things like movies, installers, and games without a save file included.

RAR'ed content only really makes sense on warez sites, because they have to upload the content on filehosts. But on trackers, unless they're run by some snooty admins that only care about pre-time's, it's just lazy I think.

I like single file, so uncompressed file suits me

Yah, I prefer Unrar for pack and .rar for Dvd-R ... Anyway, it's very long for the uploader Unrar, it's not a big trouble for me rar or unrar

Rars are the bane of my existence. Single files are the way to go, I can sort and organize the download for plex without having to unrar the file and waste twice the disk space.

I definitely prefer unRARed over RARed, but you just have to get what is there at the time, so I don't mind dealing with the RARed ones either. Just grateful to get whatever I can. As long as the speed is ok anyways.

I prefer RAR over Non-RAR, due to the fact that the FTP transfer from my seedbox to my pc is so much faster with smaller chunks. I'm using double space anyway so it doesn't bother me. If you are torrenting from your PC then Non-Rar is definitely the way to go

Unrar-ed for the sake of ratio and space on disk. I can seed longer mkv, than rars. If seeding rarrs, it takes twice as much disk space while having both on the drive ;/

unrar but if its a high quality movie i dont mind

RARed for cross-seeding because majority of general / 0day trackers use those, and also when I used to burn everything to DVDs already RARed Dual Layer releases were time savers :D

But now that I save everything on externals HDD I prefer unRARed because of space saving :D for this reason also I would like if general trackers stopped with races and offered more user friendly unRARed releases, then maybe retention wouldn't be so low.

I'd say unRARed because it allows me to select the parts i want to download from the torrent and not the whole package

RARed torrents are good to me when there are some files within the torrent that might generate false positive Virus alarm, in this case the rar will keep them safe from being delete by the anti-virus software

I prefer unRARed torrents, I suppose RARs are retained mostly because of usenet but I don't really know why it is a scene prerequisite :proud:

Absolutely UNRARED content as RARED only puts additional pressure on the hard drive and requires time to extract and to delete the extracted content should one decide to free up space preserving a torrent for further seeding...

Oh man the amount of times im spring cleaning my hard drive and delete a whole bunch of rar's only to see error after error in utorrent :banghead:

So unrared is definitely the way to go

normally unrared, easier for file recovering and won't harm my HDD.
