I used the Box for years until it changed, was lucky enough to get moved over to the new tracker but now alas that went
need UK TV tracker just after suggestions for private tracker

UKnova got closed down by the powers that be. Thebox as it was got closed by site admin. changed name to zxcv.fm Not sure if it is active. only a very few lucky users from the box were invited to zxcv.fm site will never be open again.

TVchaos on the other hand is open a lot of the time.

Alas TVchaos now requires a signup code. I know 'cos I'm also a refugee from TheBox and ZXCV and am struggling to find an alternative tracker site which lists older and more obscure UK TV in particular. Does any kind person have a spare invite for TV Chaos UK, or can anyone suggest anywhere else similar?

You could try RareShare (British tracker for TV and Radio), I don't really know how it compares to the other trackers, has around 6500 torrents and currently open sign up: http://rareshare.me/signup.php
