What was the golden age of the private trackers?

I don´t know the history about private trackers so I think that you can explain me their "Belle Époque".

Probably the Oink's Pink Palace or What.cd for some

I think we're already in the Golden Age, considering there are so many trackers out there waiting for us

I think the golden age was the mid to late 2000's. When Piratebay, Kickass, Isohunt and Demonoid were all active and weren't getting releases taken down.
