I always suggest torrenting.com for newbies. Private site with open signup, good content and fast speeds. All the best

Blues-Brothers.biz and hdme.eu is where i started. They have very easy ratios and decent selections of newer content. Not a lot of older content.

AnimeTorrents has a ton of freeleech to build a good ratio.

The easiest way to start is with trackers that have open registrations.
I also recommend reading the review before registering on the tracker and determining the content that interests you.
