Best general tracker to get started?

Hello fellow pirates, recently I've been looking for a general private tracker. And I wonder for which one I should try and get an invite? I'm looking for a private tracker with a large amount of active torrents. A nice community would be a plus as well!

I would go for TorrentLeech.

In my opinion the tracker with the best pre time at the moment.
Second would be AlphaRatio.

And i heard very good things about filelist but i have no account there (working on it :D )

There is IPTORRENTS as well, it is very nice.

torrenting.com GREAT for beginners. A private community that doesn’t require an invite. Their IRC is dead but forums seem fairly active - it’s a sister site of IPTorrents and TorrentDay.

I second this to OP! Community wise it is AR.
But for retention it is FL followed by TL.

OP what content are you exactly looking for?

I would like it to help me in the long run plus avoiding anything that has donation entry as heard it does not help much to climb up the ladder ;)

How about then getting into niche trackers?

But if your requirements just general then look for FileList.

1)Iptorrents has fast pre time and very fast speed but you need to seed(if you don't reach 1:1 ratio) torrent for 2 weeks.However it has many freeleech and it's very easy to mantain ratio.if you want you can buy an invite.it has a bonus system too.

3) Filelist is a very good and easy tracker. It has bonus system, it is easy to mantain ratio, it has freeleech and all files are unrared. Very very fast speed in download but pre time are slow and it's difficult to obtain an invite.it also has an Romanian interface.

4)TorrentDay is sister site of IPTorrents(same owners) and also here you can buy an invite. Like IPT it has freeleech,bouns system, it is easy mantaing a good ratio and fast download speed. the pre time is slightly lower than ipt.

5)AlphaRatio is the slowest of the others with regard to pre-times but has excellent speed.It's more difficult to obtain an invite here but it has many timed freeleech and every gigs you upload it is multiplied x3. unfortunately many torrents (even the most recent ones) have few seeds.

Better you join MAM a very beginner friendly tracker. Become a power user and from there you can have access to plethora of other trackers.
