With Cinemageddon now possibly closed permanently, I want to find a good alternative tracker. Cinemageddon was always an all-in-one spot for the kind of movies I was interested in, so up until now I've not looked into many other trackers. I've heard good things about Karagarga and the Horror Charnel but I don't know all that much about what sort of films are on offer there, or how well-seeded they are, or anything about the community. Could anyone give me any recommendations?

Try Cinematik. They have very similar content to CG

I've also considered that one, but I'm a little hesitant because it's full DVD only, no rips. I won't be able to be a power-seeder there the way I was on CG. I also hear it (and Karagarga for that matter) trends more towards arthouse and indie and I was always a little more interested in the b-movie/sci-fi/horro trash (although I do have a fondness for 60's/70's Italian films which might fall into the former category). Do you think I'd still have success with that tracker? Do you know much about the others I mentioned?

CG is not closing down. The twitter account is not mine. What did happen is that our current hosting service got fed up with the ddos attacks and suspended our server. We have full backups of the site and we'll return with hopefully a more robust setup on a new server. It'll take some time to set all this up cause we want to plug all security holes and since our admins are pretty busy in their personal lives I don't have an ETA on when we'll be back.
