I believe that AnimeBytes should be higher level (7 or 8) because:
- It's currently the best tracker for anime, manga, related games/VNs, OSTs, etc.
- It has very high quality torrents, and has rules to makes sure that any content they have is high quality.
- They offer a very huge collections of torrents. They offer multiple options for the same content, as well as have torrents for almost any anime that has been pirated.
- They have a very active and supportive community. There are a lot of events, contests, points giveaways, well managed forums, active IRC channels, etc.
- It is very difficult to get in as they have started giving away invites even less than before.
- All torrents there are very well seeded. Even the unpopular content is usually not dead.
- The website is very well maintained, and much better than what most private trackers have.
- Uploading new torrents and maintaining ratio is easy. Anyone can upload new torrents as long as they follow the rules. There's a lot of freeleech content and you can seed unlimited number of torrents to earn points, thus promoting users to seed more torrents (as opposed to most other trackers).
Though AB is specific to just anime and related media, they have the best quality material which is well categorized and readily available. Compared to some of the level 7 and 9 tackers here, I believe it's better than them in every way except that they cater to a probably much smaller group of people.
