I have a Samsung A04e. It was cheap and gets the job done. I had a Xiaomi 9 before that I really liked but got a touchscreen issue.

Motorola - it has removable battery, yay!!

Factory unlocked Google Pixel 7 Pro. That way I can have my root and the few remaining useful modules to go with it. Not many left these days as root gets smaller and more difficult to hide from apps. I have always been a phone modder and probably will be until they can't be modded any longer. Never buy from a carrier always buy unlocked!

I always wanted to root my phone, looked into it, read about it but didn't go through with it after all (all these warnings that I could damage it beyond repair)
Now my phone is old, maybe when I buy a new one I'll try to root it.
And I'm going to ask for your help (if that's okay with you) since you seem very experienced!
