yes, but now its very simple in contrast to how it was few years ago.
Just follow Jailbreak teams (Pangu, Taig..)on Twitter and they will let you know when they make a jailbreak for any given iOS version.
Follow Saurik too (the guy who made Cydia, Jay Freeman)
Download their software, connect iDevice to PC with USB cable and press Jailbreak button.
