I like Android because I can mount it as a USB to my computer and transfer files. iPhone doesn't have this ability I believe. Motorola makes some of the good android phones, especially when it comes to battery life, currently owner of Moto Z Play with Battery mod (lasts me through 3 - 4 days)
Let's remove Windows, and make the war viable and genuine.

Android. Even though I know there are some advantages of Apple/iOS, i think the huge amount of possibilities to configure and change an android phones are much more relevant. For example: No splitscreen on iphones. Why?
Android, I just personaly prefer android over IOS because you can customize your phone better.
IPhones are more handy when people are not used to smartphones like elderly or not to tech savvy people since it offers more user friendly interface
Till this day i still hope Apple is going to get sued over not allowing apps to be installed from other locations since that seems to be the trent.
Android because it's so customizable and you get so much freedom.
I have had all the Blackberrys and iphones back in the day. Switched to Android 8 years ago and will probably never go back.

i'm used to Android. but i know iPhone is definitely good enough.
Once, I had CyanogenMod phone. It was pretty fast and relatively easy to use with Android apps. Unfortunately, this OS is dead now.
I like Android because of overlays, its speed, because it is maintained very often, has more games and apps, very innovative.
iOS is however easier to use and has less crashes.
I dislike Windows phones.
i made the switch from nokia to apple to samsung
took me awhile to get used to each and there was always features i missed from the other brand

i don't trust any company that makes their profits off the data of it's users, unfortunately due to lack of choice we're stuck with the big 2 for now. Android is my go to mobile OS but when the time is right I will move to purism's librem5 phone. its a shame linux was not added to the poll as there are quite a few mobile OS's out there running linux eg tizen, sailfish, pureos and kaios all great mobile operating systems.
Andriod for me.... I used to be an Apple Fanboi, but got tired of being locked into the ecosystem
Andriod for me now have both mobile and tablet on it.
I have also had both Apple on an iPad mini years ago and Windows on a Nokia mobile.
Android for the phone ... but at my home i prefer Windows on pc or laptop better views and app

my opinion on the matter
Android PROS:
-extremely customizable
-larger app selection
-open source
Android CONS:
-security issues due to very easy for apps to be added to play store(but not usually an issue if you know what you're installing)
-not as easy to use due to so many customizing options and changing interfaces so often
Iphone PROS:
-beautiful interface
-very easy to use if new to tech
-much better security
Iphone CONS:
-they break your shit via updates just to make you upgrade
-barely any/no customizing options(but this adds to security and ease of use)
-no side loading/unknown source apps (if they dont want you to use it, you dont get it, unless you jailbreak it of course but even then you're still very limited)
Windows phone pros:
-been thinking for 15 minutes and I give up on thinking of a pro :P
Windows phone cons:

Hope I only made you laugh at my negative comments, no offense meant towards anyone lol we all have our needs/uses for our devices/phones. Whats perfect for the guy on my right might be the worst thing for the gal on my left. I think we are past the days on whats the "best" and have entered the era of whats "made for and best for YOU" :D
I had all the phones in my hands from the Qtek windows mobile in the past, the first iPhone 3G, most of android brands and the only thing that I can say is, FOR ME no one have the stability of iOS. It's my opinion.. but an opinion of a person who spend hours for a day on his smartphone and for more than 10 years.
I agree with everything except one thing. For me costomizing options is best thing for android so i think its not con its pro. :top:Quote:
