    Has anyone try downloading torrents using data network or use your phone as a horspot

    I wonder if it's okay to do it. Will i get caught doing it even if i use vpn? I haver unlimted data network and plus my internet is down for like 3 weeks...

    Of course it's okay. If you have a VPN then you are protected, your real IP will not be revealed.

    Yes sure. Using VPN you should be safe. Juste take into account that not all VPN providers are equally trustworthy.

    I have downloaded torrents couple of times through data network but I use my mobile phone as a hotspot connection.

    Pay attention to this point. If you are using a legit VPN, you should be okay. If you are not and your VPN is leaking some information, you might be at risk.

    Okay thanks though I"m using a family plan data which means I share my network with my family so it is still okay? Does anyone have like a sudden over charge when they do that? I"m sorry for the dumb question
