Is there a monthly requirement on CHDbits for download and upload once you pass the new members test?

There is no upload or download requirement outside the current assessment period which is currently running - 1st of May till 30th of June 2012. The next assesment period is the 1/11/2012 till 31/12/2012

You are exempt if you user class is high enough or if you have donoated but its 50G up and 50G download during the 61 days. You will see a yellow box at the top showing if you have met the requirements

i)a) rules:

1- Target: members between "Peasant" and "Crazy User" class (both inclusive) whom registered before 1/1/2012.

2- Period: from 1/5/2012 12am till 30/6/2012 11:59pm (61 days).

3- Requirement: Users should increase the following figures accordingly during this period:

i) increase upload amount by 50GB
ii) increase download amount by 50GB (excluding promotional/free/discount torrent)
iii) increase bonus point by 2000 point.

4- Members not affected by this assessment:

i) donators
ii) members with 10TB upload (or more) OR 500k bonus (or more) before the assessment begins

b) Result of the assessment will be announced on 1st of July, 2012. Please refer to "announcement" board.

We are planning to hold similiar assessment from year 2012 onwards, twice every year. This would be the first and the next on 1/11/2012 till 31/12/2012. Announcement will be made accordingly.

What about HDChina ?
Is there any thing after the 30 up and 30 down for new members ?

HDChina don't have a upload download rule but they are also in an assessment period. They are going to disable the the lowest 5% based on the total up/download as of the 10th July

We believe that the spirit of private tracker is to supply a better, faster, more convenient way to obtain resource, other than put more burden on our users' shoulder. Therefore, the only purpose of this "examine" is to clean out inactive members. We apologize for any inconvenience.
1>. Scope of filtration: All members who have registered before 12:00 PM, Dec./31st/2011.
2>. End of filtration: 12:00 PM, July/10th/2012.
3>. Way of filtration: Total amount of the sum of upload and download is what we are focusing on, after this filtration, the last 5% accounts of all members would be disabled, and that's 1,485 members from our data base. Till now, the total data of upload and download of the last person might be disabled is 206.90 GB. Considering that this watershed alters frequently, there will be an official update of data announcement weekly.

II. User classes and Promotion requirements of HDChina would be adjusted soon.

To accommodate the rules to a better development of website, we are about to optimize details of promotion and demotion in our hierarchy system. As forenotice, downloads would be weighed higher than before, and other optimizations would be applied. Details on competence of different ranking users would be discussed and improved. All works are in progress, stay tuned.

Example If a person joined on 3 Jan 2012 they would be excluded by the date as they are looking at older accounts i.e. before 31 Dec 2011. Had a person joined before that date and say upload 100G and download 50G then their totoal is 100+50=150G (i.e. 56.9G short of the current 5% cut off). Currenlty the bottom 5% value based on all the users is 206.90G. Nearer the cut off time they tell you what the current value is but on past experience it wont be that much higher. They are trying to get rid of people who sign up and don't use there accounts.
