The xx are set to release their first two albums as 7" boxsets.

Every track on the band's 2009 'xx' debut and 2012's 'Coexist' album will be pressed onto 7" vinyl and packaged into two limited edition boxsets with individual artwork for each record. Each set will cost £55 and is limited to 1000 copies. Boxsets will be shipped on December 2. For more information click here.

Meanwhile, the band released a new remix EP earlier this month. The London based trio had tracks from 'Coexist' remixed by artists signed to John Talabot's Hivern Discs label for the four track release titled 'HVNXX' EP. Producers providing remixes on the EP included Marc Piñol and Mistakes Are OK.

Last month The xx and Sampha released a limited-edition split 12" single. Just 750 copies of the split single were released on October 28. The single paired 'Without', a track from Sampha's recent 'Dual' EP, with 'Reconsider', a bonus track from 'Coexist'.

Earlier this autumn, The xx revealed they had "just begun" their new album, and said they were "feeling inspired and ready to go".
