The track is taken from the latter's third studio album 'Redemption'

Kendrick Lamar has co-starred in Jay Rock’s new video for his track ‘Wow Freestyle’ – check out the clip below.

Lamar and Rock have been close friends and collaborators for a number of years, with both artists having long been members of Top Dawg Entertainment’s formidable roster.

‘Wow Freestyle’ features on Rock’s third studio album ‘Redemption’, which came out back in June and also features the Black Panther track ‘King’s Dead’. This is the eighth track off ‘Redemption’ to receive the video treatment: official clips for ‘King’s Dead’, ‘WIN’, ‘The Bloodiest’, ‘OSOM’, ‘ES Tales’, ‘Rotation 112th’ and ‘Tap Out’ have already been produced.

The clip for ‘Wow Freestyle’ – which was directed by Jack Begert – sees Rock and Lamar riding around LA together in a red Dodge Charger before they later perform the track in front of a group of young, dancing fans.

Lamar’s most recent collaboration came on Anderson .Paak’s latest single, ‘Tints’. That track is set to feature on the latter’s forthcoming new album ‘Oxnard’, which is due next month.

Last month, rumours of a joint Lamar and J. Cole project circulated online once again after the latter’s Twitter was hacked – with the perpetrators claiming that they had the unreleased audio files in their possession.
