Muse announce charity show at London’s Royal Albert Hall
This is their first UK show in over a year
Muse have announced details of a one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. See below for dates and ticket details.
Having dropped the Terry Crews-starring new ‘Back To The Future’ themed video for new single ‘Pressure‘ last week, Muse will release their eighth album ‘Simulation Theory‘ on November 9. Now, the band have also announced details of a special charity show in the capital on Monday December 3 for The Prince’s Trust.
This will be the band’s first UK gig since headlining Reading & Leeds in 2017. Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Friday October 12 at 9am and will be available here. ID ticketing will be in operation with tickets limited to two per person. Re-sale tickets will be available via Twickets. VIP experience packages are also available – offering fans the chance to have a guided tour of the building with the band and a song dedication during the set.
“For a long time, we’ve admired the work of The Prince’s Trust,” said frontman Matt Bellamy. “When we were starting out as a band the Trust actually gave us a small grant to buy our first PA system, which I still have to this day. It really helped set us up on the right road and we’re delighted to be able to play a show to raise funds for them.”
Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust Nick Stace added:“We’re incredibly proud to count the band Muse among our alumni here at The Prince’s Trust, and thrilled that they are putting on this special concert in aid of the charity. The show will raise vital funds for the work we do at The Prince’s Trust to help young people reach their potential and achieve their dreams”.
As for other shows, the band have recently announced the cities for their upcoming 2019 UK and world arena tour. While the dates and locations are yet to be announced, they’ve revealed that they will be calling at Bristol, London and Manchester next year.
