Miley Cyrus Wants Collectible ‘Junk’ To Fall On Fans During Bangerz Tour

Miley Cyrus wants to drop a ton of junk on her fans during her upcoming Bangerz tour.

When the controversial singer hits the road next month, she’s bringing tons of collectible items along with her. At various points during the show, Cyrus wants to drop the stuff on her fans. This will give people an opportunity to bring home souvenirs without having to dive deep into their wallets or pocketbooks.

“I want to give [my fans] real things they can collect. I’m a little bit of a hoarder. It’s my mom’s worst nightmare. [And] I hope my fans become hoarders also [so] I’m giving a lot of junk away [at the shows]… I’ll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table,” Miley Cyrus explained.

She continued, “My thing has never been about me making money. I did [that] when I was a kid. I made the money I needed to make and now it’s about putting money into the tour and making sure my fans get the best show… [making] it worth going to see.”

If that’s not enough weirdness to get you to purchase a ticket for one of Miley Cyrus’ upcoming shows, then perhaps the Ren & Stimpy-inspired set design will do the trick. The singer said series creator John K.’s artwork served as inspiration for the show. She also plans to utilize the very peculiar “kitties in space” theme once again.

In addition to giving her fans plenty of “junk” and pulling inspiration from a crude 90s cartoon, Cyrus will sport outfits designed by Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott, and Bob Mackie. Miley added that the show will last around 90 minutes, including a lengthy acoustic set.

“Everything that I do, it’s not to be different to prove a point. It’s just being truly who you are, and what makes you feel good and feel right,” Miley Cyrus explained during a press call.

The singer will kick off the first gig in her Bangerz tour on February 14 in Vancouver, Canada. Altogether, Cyrus will play 38 dates around the world. For more information about the upcoming concerts, swing by the former Hannah Montana star’s official website.
