Nope, Cardi hasn't won just yet...

The Recording Academy has been forced to deny the authenticity of a leaked “winners list” that emerged online.

According to a video posted on Twitter, the list revealed that Cardi B will triumph in the Record of the Year category for ‘I Like It’.

Other purported victories included Lady Gaga winning song of the year for A Star Is Born’s ‘Shallow.’

It also claimed that Kendrick Lamar & SZA will emerge triumphant with ‘All The Stars’, taken from the Black Panther soundtrack.

However, Grammy bosses from the Recording Academy have now rubbished the claims and explained that the results aren’t known until the day of the ceremony.

““GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes, a GRAMMY spokesperson confirmed in a statement.

The leak comes ahead of the ceremony, which will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday 10 February.

The nominations were announced in December 2018, and saw significant success for the likes of Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monae and Cardi B.

Cardi B is battling the likes of Drake and Post Malone in the best album category, while also competing in the Record of the Year category for ‘I Like It.’
