It comes ahead of the main event in October

Foo Fighters have announced a special pop up event ahead of their CalJam festival later this year.

The free event will be held on August 26 at the Hollywood Palladium from 3pm to 7pm. It’s likely that the Foo Fighters themselves will be performing at the event with The Holy Shits announced on the bill.

This is the moniker they have used before to perform at a number of secret gigs. Taylor Hawkins‘ covers band Chevy Metal are also listed to perform at the bash.

Fans can get their photo taken with the the Foo Fighters’ White Limo and the throne Dave Grohl used on tour after he broke his leg in 2015.

General Admission Lawn Only tickets will also be made available at the event, which will allow access to the mainstage lawn area only, Sun and Mountain stages, carnival rides and general parking.

The event comes ahead of the main CalJam event on October 5 and 6 at San Bernadino’s Glen Helen Regional Park. Tickets can be purchased here.
