The band will take new album 'Serfs Up!' on the road this spring

Fat White Family have announced details of a new UK tour, to take place later this year.

The London band recently confirmed the release of their next album, ‘Serfs Up!’, which is due out on April 19, via Domino.

The Lias Saoudi-led group will take the record out on the road weeks after its release, kicking off with two previously announced London shows on April 30 and 31. They will then head to Southampton before stopping off in nine other cities, concluding with another London show in May.

Tickets for the new dates will go on pre-sale at 10am on Wednesday (January 30) and on general sale at 10am on Friday (February 1).

Fat White Family will play:

A press release for ‘Serfs Up’, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Songs For Our Mothers’, promises that the new album will be “a lush and masterful work, lascivious and personal. Tropical, sympathetic and monumental. It invites the listener in rather than repel them through wilful abrasion.

“Fat White Family have broken previous default patterns of behaviour, and as such their third album heralds a new day dawning.”

The band had previously teased the new record with a set of visuals that were seemingly inspired by Game Of Thrones. In the clip, Saoudi trekked up a rock to be faced with a throne, eventually taking a seat to admire a spectacular countryside view.
