Listen to a piano-led take on the iconic track

Echo and the Bunnymen have shared a new version of their 1984 hit single ‘The Killing Moon’. The updated version is taken from their first album in four years, ‘The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon.’

The album, which is out October 5, will feature a mix of both new material and “Bunnymen classics transformed… with strings and things attached.”

They shared a new version of their 1984 track ‘Seven Seas’ earlier this year. You can listen to the piano-led version of ‘The Killing Moon’ below.

To celebrate the album’s release, the band will be heading out on tour next month.
