The electronic duo are truly in the spirit of giving

The Chainsmokers have released a brand new mix in time for Thanksgiving.

The New York electronic duo recorded the mix for BBC Radio 1’s Annie Nightingale, which aired on the DJ’s show in the early hours of this morning (November 22).

Speaking about the “eclectic” mix on the show, Chainsmokers member Alex Pall said: “It’s pretty hardcore… hopefully not too hardcore for you, Annie.”

Kicking off with Afrojack and Disto’s remix of their Kelsea Ballerini-featuring single ‘This Feeling’, the duo’s appearance on Nightingale’s show also saw them promising new music in the not-too-distant future. Their second album, currently titled ‘Sick Boy’, is due in March 2019.

‘Sick Boy’ will follow on from the duo’s debut studio album ‘Memories…Do Not Open’, which came out back in April 2017. They’re also working on their first feature film, which will tell a story based on their smash hit single ‘Paris’.

Earlier this month, The Chainsmokers paid homage to Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House by naming their latest single after them.

Commenting on the release of the single, the duo wrote on Twitter: “Really love this song as well ’cause we tried to get back to our roots on this with that classic OG Chainsmoker feel. And we were listening to a lot of Beach House.”
