    Make your seedbox even more awesome

    Hi Guys!
    I ve been using a seedbox for 2 months and it really changed my torrent life And I was wondering what kind of setup do you have to make the best of your 'torrenting experience'?
    For instance, with my seedbox, I m using:
    - Deluge: I like GUI + ThinClient
    - SickRage: manage my Tvshows
    - Plex: access via streaming to the content of my seedbox.
    - FileZilla: transfer the files
    Do you have any recommendations? What makes your seedbox reliable and enjoyable?

    I live in a place where FTP connections fail all the time. My solution was to setup syncthing on my seedbox and my home computer. Now, downloading a file is very simple, I just copy the file to a shared folder and I wait.

    As an example I was getting FTP speeds of 15 kb/s - 200 kb/s (even with lftp using 10-20 segments). On Syncthing I'm getting 1.3mb/s, much better!

    I might have to try this out. I'm getting horrible speeds with FTP as well, tried a whole bunch of different clients some with multithreading and segmented downloads and no difference. I think my ISP caps FTP transfers which could be what is happening with you.

    @WhiteMamba

    I live in China at the moment so there are all sorts of barriers that I have with my ISP. My seedbox company put me a special box where I can change the routes between my computer and the box to see which one is the fastest and this also substantially increased my speeds.
