Hi, can anyone reccomend me a cheap dedicated ip seedbox? I used shared ip seedboxes a lot of time but these days some Chinese trackers dont allow them. I searched some but all dedicateds are so expensive. Any suggestions?

I dont want to pay much since i alreayd have a big and 20 gbps seedbox i use. I need this dedicated to buffer 2 chinese tracker so not very very fast speeds and i think 200-250gb of hdd is enough for that.

Not very sure but I think u will have to spend 20-30 $ for dedicated ip with that much of storage

@jagten I tried searching and asking my friends about dedicated ip seedbox but all had same view its way too expensive compare to shared ip

Just I was thinking is it Ok to buy dedicated vps server and transloading rutorrent/transmission script that may give comfort to ur pocket to some extent

Uhh these things are too complicated for an old man like me

I got a dedicated Server with an 8 core atom processor, 8 gb ram and 1 TB space on 1 GBPS Unlimited from oneprovider.com Setup time was roughly a day but it's only 15 euro or around $16.40 USD a month


Edit: You'd need knowledge to admin a linux box to setup the seedbox as it only comes with a bare operating system but I am happy to help a fellow member!

Is there is difference between dedicated seedbox and dedicated ip seedbox

Have a look at the KS-1 from Kimsufi, I've been using one for years. It's around 5 USD/month and comes with a 500GB HDD and a 100 Mbps connection with no bandwidth limits. It also has dedicated IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. It's no frills, and you'll want to be comfortable with Linux, but I've been very happy with its performance for the price.

They can be hard to come by through the normal web interface, they seem to always be out of stock, but that's because they sell out so fast when one becomes available. If you use something like Kimi Checker you'll have more luck.

Aurodl-irssi can be installed easily? Or need to know coding?
