Microsoft has just rolled out a new update for Office on Windows 10 Mobile, only a few hours before the operating system is expected to make its public debut as an upgrade for Windows Phone devices too.

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have all received a new bunch of improvements on devices that are running Windows 10 Mobile (both retail users owning a Lumia 950/950 XL or 650 and Windows Phone users participating in the Windows Insider program are seeing this update). But as usual, Microsoft hasn’t provided any information on what’s inside.
We do know that this update brings performance optimizations and bug fixes, but a change log always comes in handy, especially when new features are also introduced. This doesn’t seem to be the case this time, though, but the update is still worth getting.
Windows 10 Mobile users are getting updates at a fast pace, just like those on PCs, as part of Microsoft’s strategy to push the operating system closer to the Windows as a Service concept.
This seems to have worked pretty well until now, but the lack of change logs is still frustrating, especially since updates arrive so frequently. And yet, make sure you install today’s updates, especially if you are a daily user of the Office productivity suite on Windows 10 Mobile.
