    Windows 7 here...
I am planing to move to Windows 8, but i have installed SO MANY programs, that would take days to complete the new installation and all the settings...

About XP, i was also a big fan of this OS. I tried Vista 2-3 times. but Vista was bullshit and i was moving back to XP over and over again !
When i tried Windows 7, i thought "wow, what the hell !!!" and i stuck on this OS. The best OS i have ever tried. As good as i could never imagine. Now i can't work on XP for more than 10 minutes

I currently don't recommend Windows 8. If you liked the simplity and smooth running of XP and it's true descendant Windows 7, Windows 8 is not for you. I tried it, it has better features, but it was like I was tired of it after 2 hours.

    Currently using Win7...

I don't think upgrading to Win8 is worth it, even with discounts... the GUIs are of course stunning, but it departs too much from Win7 to allow smooth upgrade...
