i use peerblock right now! but what is a better program?

A VPN or a seedbox would be your best bet, peerblock is only as good as its update lists and there not very good at the best of times and it blocks as many good IP ranges as bad ones so its not good for anything IMO.

I gave up using peerblock a looong time ago. there is really no point when you are using private trackers. Just make sure you dont have any of these trackers in your client and you should be fine:

tracker.openbittorrent.com

tracker.publicbt.com

tracker.istole.it

Using peerblock/peerguardian is pointless and actually will block good peers when using private trackers. I have never gotten a DMCA complaint email when ive used private trackers.
