It’s no secret that Microsoft’s investing aggressively in Cortana on Windows 10, and to make sure that more users discover the benefits that it brings on PCs and mobile, the company is now launching a new app category for the personal assistant in the Windows Store.

Announced at Build 2016 during the opening keynote, the new section is now available in the Windows Store and provides access to apps that come with built-in Cortana support, so you can use some features only with voice commands.
“Let your digital assistant handle that! Cortana works great with the apps in this collection,” the description of this new app section reads.
At this point, there are only a few apps in this category, which is actually odd because the number of apps available in the store that come with Cortana support is significantly bigger. And yet, you can find some of the most popular in here, including Shazam, Netflix, Pandora, Uber, Hulu, AccuWeather, NASCAR, and American Express.
Cortana is one of Microsoft’s key focuses this year, and the personal assistant is set to receive more features with the upcoming Anniversary Update for Windows 10. Cortana will be capable of shutting down the computer and interacting with bots, which are Microsoft’s next big thing in the long term.
Cortana will be able to handle bots and have them perform a set of tasks automatically, such as booking hotel rooms and buying ticket concerts.
