Microsoft has just released new app updates for Windows 10 Mobile, and both insiders and users who are running the stable version of the operating system are getting them.

Outlook Mail and Wallet are two of the apps getting enhancements today, and although updates are usually good news for everyone, it’s not all just milk and honey this time around.
In the case of the mail client, Microsoft hasn’t provided any information on what has been changed inside the update, so although we are strongly recommended to download and install this new version, it appears that bug fixes and performance improvements are all we get.
Wallet app changes But as far as the Wallet app is concerned, Microsoft has revealed in the change log posted in the store that several features have been deprecated, including the credit and debit card support, the wallet PIN, location and date awareness, as well as Microsoft gift cards.
This could be a sign that Microsoft’s working on more improvements for future updates, but for the moment, it’s very clear that this new version brings significant changes for Windows 10 Mobile users.
Both these updates are available through the store, but if you’d like to get them manually, you can download both Outlook Mail and Wallet apps on your Windows 10 Mobile device too.
New app updates are shipped to Windows 10 Mobile users on a regular basis, and that’s quite good news because, this way, adopters of Microsoft’s phone operating system are always up to date and bugs are fixed very fast. But on the other hand, the lack of change logs isn’t necessarily the best way to go, especially since Microsoft has pledged full transparency when it comes to everything Windows 10.
And yet, make sure you install today’s new versions to remain fully up to date if you are already running Windows 10 Mobile, either a preview build or the stable release.
