I'm new in MacBook world so I would like to get some advise about great programs.
I used gps, office, photoshop, ezgenerator and ftp/winamp/winzip/rar etc.. on my Windows machine.

I'm interested in maintaining websites, some office work and photo editing.

Please share with me your favourite Mac programs.

You can find most of windows based programms on a Mac. I don't know so much for website building programms, but MS Office have a Mac version, Photoshop too...
For word processor, you can try Apache Open Office, which is a good tool.
Extracking archive will be nicely done with the built-in Archive utility, and Filezilla is available on Mac for your ftp transferts.

I'm new to the MacOs world too.. Got myself a MacBook because of the size and weight. Very cool little thing it is..

Must have apps I reckon so far are; and in no particular order:

Adguard - wesome Ad Blocker
CleanMyMac 3 - Nice way to clean all the residual files etc from uninstalls
Chrome - Best browser in my opinion
Parallels - Install other Os - Windows, Android, Linux etc. for all the apps you can't get or aren't any good on MacOs
TorBrowser - Anonimity
Office Suite - Better than the Mac rubbish in my humble opinion
Steam - Games, Games and some more Games
The Unarchiver or 7zX - WinRar
Soundnode - Soundcloud App
FileZilla - FTP
Photoshop - Photoshop
Dreamweaver - HTML
QuickRes - until you've seen an 13" screen in 3360x2100 resolution you don't know how good these retina screens really are!

Probably there are a few more but thats about it off the top of my head..
