The newly released Windows 10 Mobile Redstone build 14283 indeed brings several improvements, such as new options and a plethora of bug fixes, but since it’s a preview build, it also comes with some important known bugs.

Furthermore, since this is a build aimed at members of the fast ring, it’s also natural to expect such bugs, so everyone should keep an eye on them when installing the latest release.
Band 1 and 2 no longer syncing First and foremost, it’s important to note that Bluetooth settings for your car might no longer work after you install this build, as Microsoft has updated the Bluetooth AVRCP profile on mobile to version 1.5.
“Some cars only tell Windows what they support and vice versa during the initial pairing ceremony. In order for this update to take full effect, you need to delete your existing Bluetooth pairing with your car and then re-pair. After doing so, if you notice any issues using media playback controls or missing artist or track info, please file a new feedback item including your car’s make, model, and year,” Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, says.
At the same time, Aul warns that Microsoft Band, both the first and the second generation, will no longer synchronize after installing this update.
This is due to a system API failure happening during the update, and the workaround is to temporarily change the language of the phone. As weird as it might sound, this is the only way to fix it, but Microsoft has promised a patch in the coming updates. Of course, resetting the phone also repairs the problem, with Microsoft saying that Skype video and audio calls could also be impacted.
