haha twice in 2 days i noticed a 2.5 mb cap on my net upload was 14kb wtf lol so i phoned up saying i wanna cancel my package so the said stay and we will give up upgrade from 10mb to 20 mb for free or you can have 50mb for only £7.50 extra haha obv i chose 50 mb so i get extra 40mb for £7.50 now is it me or is that another win to the customer. they even upped it to 20mb until next week when i get my new modem.

Thats great, if only we can all try that and face the same outcome as you. You might ring the phone to pretend that your going to cancel just to get a better deal, and they may just go ahead with your cancellation.. *embarassing moments*

yea obviously you have to be willing to leave otherwise it wont work.
we have been customers with them for years never missed a bill not even late, and we have the full package internet, phone and tv so they where never gunna let us go without trying to make a deal everytime we have a slight problem we go over the top and say we wanna cancell the package and just before they click that cancel button they make you a nice offer (obviously dont try this if you are not willing to follow through on your actions.

yea mate might try the same shit again in a few month soon as theres some downtime or something so i have a reason to complain il get 100 meg out of them
