The Witcher developer CD Projekt RED is teasing an announcement for today, and you can probably guess what it’s going to be about.

Last week, The Witcher community manager Marcin Momot said that protagonist Geralt will be starring in a non-Witcher game for the first time. Though he did not reveal the name, he said the game is due for release later this year.

It was easy to guess that Momot is talking about Soulcalibur 6, which would make a lot of sense. Now, the official Witcher Twitter account is teasing a reveal that’ll be taking place today.

This time, though, the tease involves Kaer Morhen, the keep serving as training grounds for generations of Witchers. “Kaer Morhen’s old stones have witnessed many battles… Once more they’ll feel the sting of sparks as blades collide…,” the tease reads.

This could indicate that Kaer Morhen will be one of Soulcalibur 6’s stages, but this won’t happen if Geralt wasn’t also a guest character in the game. But since nothing has been officially announced yet, we’ll have to wait for today’s reveal to find out for sure.

Soulcalibur games have a history of featuring guest characters from other games. God of War’s Kratos appeared in Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed was featured in Soulcalibur 5, and we can’t forget Star Wars characters in Soulcalibur 4.

We’ll bring you the big news as soon as it’s available.
