This week we're practically swimming in deals and special offers on video games and hardware. So if you want to save big bucks while playing fantastic games, you'll want to keep on reading. Strap in and get ready to save your hard-earned money.

Hardware
In the market for a PS4 Pro? Target has the best deal around by far, with a 1TB PS4 Pro for $320 now through April 28. That's a savings of $80--not too shabby. If you'd rather join the Xbox One camp, you can get a great deal from Best Buy that comes with an Xbox One S, a 4K TV, and two games, all for $450. That saves you $175 you can then spend on games and accessories. Best Buy also has a bunch of games on sale this week, plus $10 rewards credit for pre-ordering Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, or Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch.

PS4 games
PS4 owners have two sales to choose from on the PlayStation Store. The Golden Week sale features lowered prices on mega-hits like Monster Hunter Worlds and Persona 5. The Totally Digital sale gives discounts on digital-only games and pre-orders like Tacoma and Pyre. Speaking of PlayStation deals, you can get one of the best PS4 Humble Bundles we've ever seen through May 8. It includes games like Dead Rising 2 and Alien: Isolation.

Xbox One games
On the Xbox side of things, Microsoft has launched its weekly Xbox One game sale. It has lots of great deals, including discounts on A Way Out and Forza Horizon 3 and Hot Wheels Expansion Bundle. Xbox One owners who haven't tried the Xbox Game Pass will want to see this. For just $1/£1, you can get a month's worth of Xbox Game Pass, which will include State of Decay 2 come May 22. And PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is just $20 on Newegg if you use a promo code.

Nintendo Switch games
Nintendo is running an Eshop sale that offers discounts on Switch and Nintendo 3DS games. You can get games like Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 and Rocket League for cheap.

PC games
For a limited time, Square Enix has cut prices in half on just about every mainline Final Fantasy game for PC on the Square Enix Store. No video game deal beats free. Ubisoft also has a bunch of its classic games, including Splinter Cell Blacklist, on sale for between 50-80% off.

This weekend, you can choose from five PC games to play for free through Sunday. If you want a free game you can keep forever, download your free copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition on GOG. There are a couple of small hoops to jump through, but free is free. And we're closing in on your last chance to scoop up April's free games from Twitch Prime. Speaking of, Amazon and Twitch just announced May's free Twitch Prime games.

Movies
Games aren't the only thing on sale this week. We've also hunted down a number of great deals on Blu-ray movies, including $5 hits, a Marvel superhero movie sale, and a handful of movies that are effectively free once you redeem the $7-off movie ticket coupon that comes with them.

We'll continue to cover all the worthwhile video game deals, so keep coming back for more of the latest ways to save money on games.
