UK Video Game Chart: FIFA 16 is back at No.1

Surprisingly..

Star Wars Battlefront slips to third after a 52 per cent drop in sales.

FIFA 16 has returned to the top of the All-Formats UK Video Game Chart, with retailer price cuts and console bundling over Black Friday week helping the title achieve a 254 per cent increase in sales week-on-week, reports Chart Track.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 holds at No.2 thanks to a 47 per cent increase, with Star Wars Battlefront sliding into No.3 after sales fell 52 per cent during its second week.

Fallout 4 dropped one place to No.4 despite an eight per cent increase in sales week-on-week.

The top 40 is filled with a host of high climbers thanks to the sales, including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection at No.5 which shot up 999 per cent.

Despite prices falling to under £20, Sony's acclaimed horror title Until Dawn could only manage a re-entry at No.24. For more on the Black Friday sales check out Dave's look at the biggest winners of the week.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

It's hard to know if Battlefront would have performed better had it not had a host of reduced games to compete with, even if a 50 per cent fall off in its second week isn't too shabby.

EA will also be disappointed to see its big shooter being outsold by Black Ops 3 so soon after its release, and with Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege in stores now it will be interesting to see how the Star Wars FPS holds-up.
