Electronic Arts will release its Star Wars Battlefront: Outer Rim DLC on April 5, according to GameStop website, for $15 USD.

Players who've purchased the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass, priced at $50 USD, will receive this content at no extra cost. Pre-orders are available on the GameStop website for those looking it purchase the content on its own. Star Wars Battlefront: Outer Rim will be available to download at 10 am EST the morning it goes live.

The new content will allow players to "fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine." It includes four new maps, a new mode, new weapons, and two playable heroes—Sullustan rebel Nien Nunb and Rodian bounty hunter Greedo.

Extraction, the new game mode, is a capture-the-flag type mode in which Rebels must fight to deliver a resource shipment to their transport before time runs out. Empire players will have to stop the Rebels before the delivery is made.
