Indivisible, the fantasy RPG from Skullgirls creators Lab Zero Games, has been funded.

The game's Indiegogo campaign currently sits at just under $1.6 million, making it the highest grossing gaming project on the crowdfunding platform ever.

The campaign was also a fixed one, meaning that Lab Zero would only receive donations if they reached their original $1.5 million goal. This is typically not the case on Indiegogo, which allows projects to keep whatever funding they receive regardless of the final tally. Given the restrictions, and the amount of money involved, this is an important moment for both the developer and its donation service of choice.

The campaign was originally set for a standard 30 days of fundraising. However, Indiegogo allowed Lab Zero to extend the campaign another month as the first round closed with just $900,000. Now, with less than three days left, two new stretch goals have been revealed.

The first requires a total of $1.65 million, and will help fund additional music by Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta. The second, with a goal of $1.9 million, will unlock an opening cutscene by Adult Swim animation studio Titmouse, Inc., and an as-yet-unannounced anime studio.

Indivisible is just Lab Zero Games' latest crowdfunding success. Their 2D fighting game, Skullgirls, funded several of its DLC characters through a much smaller drive back in 2013. Indivisible guest characters will even include units from Skullgirls and other indie hits when it finally arrives, though there's no word yet on when that might be.
