The development team at Ubisoft in charge of Rainbow Six Siege is offering a new trailer for the shooter, which focuses on the operators that are modelled on the GIGN, the counter-terrorism unit that handles operations in France.

Gamers can take a closer look at Montagne, Twitch, Doc and Rook, each of them coming with a unique set of special abilities that makes them formidable on the battlefield.

The focus of Rainbow Six Siege is on five versus five battles, with one team on the attack and another playing defensive.

Gamers will be able to choose from a wide array of operators and will need to master their powers and then cooperate with their comrades in order to take out enemies and achieve objectives.

The game engine used for Rainbow Six Siege focuses heavily on both destruction, allowing players to blow up sections of the level, and on close quarters combat, which is more intense than the series has previously delivered.

Ubisoft is also introducing a TerroHunt cooperative mode for the title, which will give fans more tactical choices as they work with friends to take out AI controlled terrorist groups.

Rainbow Six Siege will be offered on October 13 on the PC, the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.
