Presto
MOVIE TIME, ANYTIME.

Presto, Foxtel's on-demand streaming service, is now available on PlayStation 4 and PS3 (not to be confused with Foxtel Go / Foxtel Play -- the more expensive SD broadcast streaming service, already on PS4).

The release completes the package, as all of Australia's major streaming apps are now on PS4 -- Netflix, Stan, Quickflix and now Presto.
Originally envisioned for mobiles and somewhat rushed to beat the local Netflix launch, Presto launched as just standard-definition, and only added HD content two months ago.

Despite its blurry origins, it's the most expensive of the bunch at $14.95 per month, compared to Netflix's $11.99 and Stan's $10.

Although, it does offer just movies or just TV shows for $9.99 each per month, if you only want one.

We haven't really tried Presto -- frankly because it was too inconvenient to use on a TV with no console or smartTV app, and SD-only prior to September 2015 was ridiculous -- so cannot comment on if its content is worth the slight extra cost. Now those have changed, we'll test it out to deliver a verdict soon.
