DiRT Rally is a new racing game, developed and published by Codemasters, that's currently in the Early Access program on Steam, but it has already gathered a lot of attention and praise from the community. From the looks of it, the game is accurate enough so that a professional racing driver can play it just fine.

Games that usually tout the fact that they are extremely accurate usually end up falling on their sword. It's extremely difficult to make an accurate racing game, but it looks like the makers of DiRT Rally have expressed no interest in this. They just built something that's incredibly good and that can be picked up by a professional rally driver and played at its full potential.
The video you see below wasn't set up by Codemasters; it's been done by people from the community. The guy who made it, DVMSteve, says that it wasn't his first try and that he needed to adjust to the fact that there are no G forces involved. He also said that Dirt 3 felt like "child's play" in comparison. The racing setup used by the driver, which looks like a gamer's dream, is also worth noting.
The driver is Will Orders, and he won quite a lot of races in his day. He's now a full-time rally driver instructor, and that really shows in the video. More details about DiRT Rally can be found on the Steam website.
