Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition is delayed until Spring 2016

Launched back in March of 2015, Ori and the Blind Forest was met with many positive reviews as the game’s unique art design and story made for an exciting adventure. Over the months following, Moon Studios released several expansion packs for its platform adventure title. The team also promised that a new Definitive Edition of the game would be available sometime this holiday season, bringing with it several gameplay tweaks as well as a slew of extra content. However, with Christmas just two days away and less than two weeks left in 2015, it had become pretty obvious that Moon Studios would not make their original deadline.

Yesterday, Moon Studio finally made their official announcement via twitter. Ori and the Blind Forest: The Definitive Edition will not being making its way to PC and Xbox until the spring of 2016. Although that may be a disappointment for some, Moon Studio has been using user-feedback while developing this new edition of the game, so hopefully the little extra time they need will go a long way for players.
